Mindi Abair goes wild with her new album “Mindi Abair and The Boneshakers Live in Seattle”

Mindi Abair is a two time Grammy nominated, American saxophonist, vocalist, author, and National Trustee for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. She is an amazing artist, that after her solo CD Wild Heart, she gives us her new album “Mindi Abair and The Boneshakers Live in Seattle” in cooperation with The Boneshakers. She joined forces with the blues rock veterans The Boneshakers, and they recorded it at Jazz Alley in Seattle, WA. There are 11 original songs, 2 amazing cover songs, and 3 new songs that I’ve never recorded. The CD was released on 25th of September. And on the 5 of October the album debuted on the second place on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart today – right in between Herb Alpert and Lizz Wright.

Abair was featured on the 2012 American Idol season, performing with Phillip Phillips. Tyler was so impressed with Abair that he invited her to join Aerosmith on the summer leg of their 2012 world tour playing the sax and singing backing vocals. If being a brilliant artist is not enough Mindi started to design jewelry with the jewelry mogul Carrie Dawes,the name of the line is Mindi Abair Jewelry – Jewelry That Rocks, and launched December 2014.
