Igor Gerzina is award-winning sax player, composer and the producer of the Croatian Radiotelevision Jazz Orchestra. He won several Porin awards, an award which is considered as Croatian most prestigious discography award, and also he is winner of several Status awards for the best instrumentalist of the year, awarded by the Croatian Musicians Union.

He took part in over 80 discography editions, composed songs for film and pop artists and also composed opening tracks for TV and radio.

His interest in music started when he was seven years old and had his first music experience with violin. He switched to saxophone at the Music Academy in Zagreb where he graduated in classical music. After his graduation he won a scholarship and studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.

Igor Gerzina released his first album “Sax Album” in 2006 which was nominated for the Porin Award in two categories, and one composition was used as a musical theme for TV series.

His cool and catchy smooth jazz album called “Metropolis” earned many breathtaking and inspiring critics worldwide from UK, Germany, USA, Canada, Italy and many more.

Gerzina’s fourth album “One Click World”, which won two Porin awards in 2014, is “Album Of The Month” on Smooth Jazz Appreciation Society.

In 2014 Igor Gerzina released four singles and videos: “Better Man”, “Summer Breeze”, “Stay Cool & Play Sax” and his latest “Dream For The Future”.
