Soul Eyes” is different then her previous engagements,it turns more to her earlier jazz influences, like Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. This album really has the ingredients that make a real pure jazz album. Kandace Springs is not alone, we have two tracks featuring Blanchard, “Soul Eyes” and “Too Good To Last” . “The World Is a Ghetto” is a nice put jazz song, and will make you enjoy every note. If you want something faster and more cheerful then “Novocaine Heart” Is the song for you, the fun is guarantied. “Soul Eyes” closes with a beautiful piano ballad “Rain Falling” the lone song Springs wrote by herself.

Kandace Springs has just started her career and “Soul Eyes” is a great jump board for that. She has the talent and the energy of a real star, we can’t wait for her new release.
