Brian Simpson is very convincing with “Persuasive”
Brian Simpson the outgoing keyboardist, composer, prolific studio musician and producer from Illinois did another favour for the contemporary jazz scene with his new album “Persuasive“. The album was released on November 18th, by Shanachie Records, and contains 10 great smooth jazz tracks. Brian is well known for his smooth jazz songs, starting from 2015, with his #1 radio hit “It’s All Good.”
“Persuasive” starts with the title track, and the name of the track says it all. It will really get you in to the mood thanks to Simpson and Boney James persuasive talent. The hit single “Soul City,” got a lot of love from the smooth jazz fans, and is well deserved, we can say for sure that it’s the highlight of this album. Steve Alaniz does wonders with his sax on the track “One and Only,”and that’s something you would love to hear. If you want a real holiday relaxation “Just One Wish” is the track for you, a beautiful smooth ballad that will stick in your thoughts.
Brian Simpson deserves the title “Winner of the American Smooth Jazz Keyboardist of the Year Award” and his album “Persuasive” proves that.
