The album has eight tracks, and they are all worth it. “It Should’ve Happened a Long Time Ago,” is the opening track, and this track is from 1984 trio album of the same name featuring Frisell and saxophonist Joe Lovano. “Subconscious Lee” offers a very powerful and elegant melody. The title track has a blues spark that will charm you all the way. “Song for Andrew No. 1” is a very gentle ballad. “Goldfinger,” with Morgan’s bass is plumbing the depths of the tune’s harmony, prompting Frisell to explore the blues hidden under its changes.

We can say that Bill Frisell and Thomas Morgan make beautiful music together. This album is an amazing output, of their hard work and talent, combined.
